In this audio message, Khen Rinpoche Geshe Tashi Tsering kindly shares his heartfelt reflections on his relationship with Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche over nearly 50 years.
He concludes by offering advice to those of us who had received teachings or initiations from Rinpoche.
Thank you for these words Geshe-la, sending condolences to you and all individuals impacted by the loss of precious Khabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche.
One of my first encounters with Buddhism was photographs Jon gave me from Jamyang; one of Lama Zopa and one of you! He met Lama Zopa around this time and was exuberant in his explanation of that encounter.
I heard teachings from Lama Yeshe at Leeds University seven or eight years ago and was deeply touched by his presence. I am saddened to hear of his passing and send my condolences to all those who were close to him. I was moved by Geshe Tashi’s short video and his wise guidance on facing the sometimes challenging realities of impermanence. With metta, Stewart in Largs, Scotland
